PsyGlobal exists because there is no single place to find mental health professional training in India. Workshops, supervision groups, certification programmes, and student or early-career programmes are scattered across institute websites, professional bodies, and WhatsApp groups. PsyGlobal brings these into one searchable directory, alongside a directory of practitioners themselves. Listings are submitted directly by the practitioners, trainers, and institutes running them, and PsyGlobal is run independently of any single institute or professional body.

Finding mental health professional training in India is harder than it should be. Professional bodies list their own events in isolation. Most of what circulates moves through word of mouth and WhatsApp groups. PsyGlobal brings it into one accessible place.
PsyGlobal is primarily for mental health professionals and students in India: clinical psychologists, counselling psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors, psychiatric social workers, occupational therapists working in mental health, and allied practitioners at all career stages.
It is also for training institutes, professional associations, and organisations looking to commission training or find qualified practitioners for their programmes.
Yes. Browsing all listings is completely free and requires no account, login, or registration. Submitting a listing is also free. Fill in the submission form and your listing will appear within 3 to 5 working days.

No. PsyGlobal is a professional training directory, not a client-facing therapy directory. It is for mental health professionals and students looking for training, supervision, and professional development, not for individuals seeking therapy or counselling.
No. PsyGlobal is a directory platform, not an accrediting body. We do not certify, accredit, or designate any event as eligible for CRE (Continuing Rehabilitation Education) credits or other training hours toward regulatory requirements. PsyGlobal is not an RCI-approved body and makes no such claim.
A training workshop is a time-bound event, typically one day to a few days, focused on a specific skill, modality, or topic. An ongoing programme runs over a longer period with multiple sessions: a year-long DBT training, a monthly supervision group, a semester-long reading group. Both types are listed on PsyGlobal, and you will be asked to specify which when submitting.
Clinical supervision is a formal, structured process in which a more experienced practitioner supports a less experienced one, or peers support each other, in reflecting on clinical work. It covers case consultation, ethical dilemmas, professional development, and wellbeing in relation to practice.
Supervision is considered a professional requirement for most mental health practitioners at all career stages, not just those in training. Access to qualified supervisors outside major cities has historically been limited. PsyGlobal aims to make supervision groups easier to find, including online options.

You will be asked for the listing name, type, format, date or schedule, venue or platform, a description, and your credentials as organiser or trainer. An optional LinkedIn profile and professional registration number helps us process your submission.
Submissions are published within 3 to 5 working days. We respond to every submission.

Every listing needs a real organiser or programme behind it. We review each submission on that basis rather than requiring a licensed clinician for every programme.
For practitioner-level training, individual practitioners should hold a recognised postgraduate qualification in psychology, counselling, psychotherapy, psychiatric social work, or a related field (MA, MSc, MPhil, or PhD), along with any relevant certification for the modality being taught. Recognised registrations include RCI, IACP, IPS, NAPSWI, and equivalent bodies. International certifications from ISST, EMDRIA, and similar organisations are also accepted.
Student and early-career programmes (internships, academy courses) do not need a licensed clinician leading them, but the organising academy or organisation should be identifiable and the programme content should be genuinely related to psychology. If you are unsure whether your programme fits, submit with full details and we will respond.
We aim to respond to all submissions within 3 to 5 working days. Providing a LinkedIn profile and professional registration number helps us process your submission faster. If we need additional information, we will contact you at the email address provided.
We respond to every submission, including those we cannot list. If we cannot publish yours, we will tell you why. In most cases this is due to insufficient information rather than a permanent rejection. You are welcome to resubmit with additional details.
Contact us at contact@psyglobal.com or through the contact form, with your listing or profile name and what needs to change. There is no separate update form: the same contact channel handles both new submissions and edits to existing ones.
PsyGlobal collects information you actively submit through one of our forms: event submissions, practitioner profile submissions, newsletter signups, or contact enquiries. We also use Google Analytics, which places cookies on your device to collect anonymised data about site usage (pages visited, session duration, and traffic sources), even if you do not submit a form. See our Privacy Policy for details.
For event listings: the organiser or trainer name and event details are published. Your personal email address and phone number are not published. For practitioner profiles: name, credentials, specialities, and location are always published. Your email, phone number, WhatsApp, and website or LinkedIn link are published only if you choose to display them when submitting your profile: if you do not opt in, they are used only to process your submission and are never shown publicly. Newsletter signups and contact enquiries are never published.
Write to contact@psyglobal.com with the subject "Remove my listing" or "Remove my profile." Include the name of the listing and the email address used when it was submitted. We will remove it promptly.
No. PsyGlobal does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Form submission data is processed through Netlify's forms infrastructure as part of our hosting arrangement, and anonymised site-usage data is processed through Google Analytics. Beyond this technical processing, your data is not shared with any other organisation.
